Great food and friendly staff. Unfortunately they no longer offer reusable containers (Vytal boxes) for takeaways, lots of plastic waste now (boxes, lids and plastic bag).

A very nice Halal restaurant! The food was delicious and very reasonable too, with a good choice of dishes. The portions were really large as well! I really enjoyed the Thai Red Curry and the chicken Gyozas were delicious!

Absolutely loved Makalu Kitchen! The food was super fresh and full of flavor — you can really tell they care about quality. The service was super friendly too, and the whole place just has a really nice, relaxed vibe. We tried a few different dishes and honestly everything was spot on. Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Hamburg. Can’t wait to come back!
